Rotorlab FPV's Own Frame Design
The Origin is the first ever drone frame fully designed by the Rotorlab FPV team. A year in the making, this frame was made with builders and fliers of all levels in mind. It provides plenty of space for soldering and can accomodate a variety of components while keeping a simple but sleek look. Multiple destructive testings and revisions were also made to ensure the durability and quality of the frame.

5mm thick Carbon Fiber Arms

Motor is protected in both x and y directions

FPV camera is protected regardless of the angle

Optional DC fans (sold separately) can be mounted to protect video transmitters from overheating

Arms are chamfered on edges to reduce risk of delamination
Build Flexibility:

Multiple mounting locations for increased layout possibilities.

Caddx Vista can be mounted on front, middle or back of frame and is compatible with any coaxial cable lengths. It is also possible to mount 2 vistas for flying with 2 pilots.

DJI Air Unit can be mounted on either the middle or back of frame.

Can fit 30x30 mm or 20x20 mm Flight Controllers (FC) in the middle or back of frame.

USB connection is always accessible no matter which location the FC is mounted.

Zip-tie mount to secure RC receiver is located in front of the frame and the indicator light and bind button is always visible and accessible from the top of the frame.

20x20mm DC fans can be mounted to cool the Digital Video system(s) or Analog VTX's .

Frame can fit both Digital and/or analog video systems.

Built-in mounting points for XT-60 connector, 3D printed mounts, and/or antennas.

Adjustable side mounts for FPV camera.

Built-in battery strap holes to secure power source into place.

Standard arms can fit propellers up to 5.1".
Ease of Assembly:

Quick-change arms: Only 1 screw needs to be removed to change an arm.

Beginner builder friendly. Plenty of space for soldering and working inside the frame.

Arms are all the same geometry so it can be placed in any of the motor positions.

Built- in M3 press fit nuts for 30x30mm FC mounting point.

Standoffs are knurled to make it easier to grip while tightening the M3 screw.

Hole for capacitor placement.
